HP Recommended

I have battled this error for several days - it happened when trying to update the firmware.  The printer would display the HP logo a couple times during startup and then the error and ready lights would flash.  Then the printer was non-responsive...  The solution was to hold down the OK and X buttons while turning the printer on.  Once the screen went dark, let up on the buttons.  You may have to press the right and left arrows a few times and then you'll see some menu options.  Select Mfg, then select Full Reset.  This got my printer up and going again!  I hope it helps someone else.
