I am not able to print any type of file, except PDF.  So have to save to PDF first and then print!

Welcome to the HP Support Community

I'd like to help!

 

I understand that you are not able from your PC except PDF files. 

 

To assist better:

 

I would like to know if you are able to print that file from any other device?

 

Uninstall and reinstall the printer drivers. Use this link to download drivers for your PC and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.

 

Once installed try printing from a notepad and then check if you are able to print.
