@Funchords the macOS updater does not work on anything above Mojave (10.14).

 

I had to set a VM on my Macbook to run Mojave and the updater to 20201012 worked.

Sadly, even after the update the printer does not connect with ePrint/HP Webservices anymore.

 

Time to change printers. And printer brand.

I understand. Just this morning I have ordered my replacement printer; it's an Epson.

 

Sorry to end this thread unsuccessfully. But, it is the end of the line for me.

@funchords You moved on, kudos! I would appreciate you taking a video of the printer while you are trashing it. Upload it to YouTube and share the link here. I will make sure to o spread the video everywhere I can. HP should be ashamed of this bs! With what's happening out there with climate change, this should never happen!
