Product: HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M479fdn
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Dear support,

I set the admin password on both my M479 printer, and when I tried to log into the printer, I used 'admin' for the username and the new password I set up, and now it will not let me in. It keeps asking for username and password.

Please help me solve this issue without having to reset the printer completely.

Try admin with a capital A. Another thing that catches someone having the caps lock on when you entered the password. Turn on caps lock and type the password as normal.

I was misled because other HP printers do not require user to be set (it can be blank)
