HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M281fdw

Same issue suffered by others.  Printer (HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M281fdw) is showing Resend Upgrade on the message panel.  Tried downloading latest update, says no updates available.  Have tried turning wireless on/off incase it is a network problem with no change.  Still getting the message.  Appears there needs to be a reset but the resolution is only being sent via private message.  Please provide res

You might have to perform a semi-full reset on the printer.

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.

Hi Sandytechy20,.

 

I'm having the same issue with my MFP M281fdw. It was set to automatically update by default and about 2 months ago the update bricked my printer. Now I'm getting a "Resend upgrade" message on the printer console. Can you please help?

Hi, I have the same problem, not possible to print any longer!

I have exactly the same problem.  Some update bricked my formerly lovely $500 HP Laser Jet MFP M281fdw.  The screen keeps coming back to "Resend Upgrade"    I'm well beyond frustrated.
