Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

I bought the M140we printer not knowing that it requires Windows 8 or higher to work. The retailer told me it does work with Windows 7.

I connected it via WiFi. The WiFi device list says 'connected' but shows a yellow exclamation mark and the connection lamp on the printer keeps blinking.

Trying to use the HPEasyStart_16_4_5.exe setup program fails installing Edge.

I am looking for the driver and software for this printer that works under Windows 7. Updating Windows is not an option.

Can anyone tell me how to get my M140we printer working?
