Hi all, I have an old but sturdy and reliable LJ 1022n printer, which works perfectly on all house PCs except my daughter's. She has a HP with windows 11 OS and when I plug in the printer in the USB port it recognizes it correctly and installs the drivers automatically. However, when I try to print, the printer first shows an error and then when I reset it it starts printing. then one of 2 things happen: 1. either the page prints properly or 2. the printer keeps printing the same page indefinitely. The printer also has a network card, so when I change the port to the standard IP port (IP 192.168.1.10 - same on all other house PC), the PC recognizes it at first, but then it keeps either having the problem described above or says that the driver is missing. 

Originally the printer came with an installation CD, yet I can't use it anymore as none of the laptops have a CD rom reader anymore. the software back then was doing some installation and then it required the printer to be connected to USB.

Does anyone knows a solution or have that original software available for download? HP does not provide it anymore, and I am going crazy trying to solve the issue. 

We also have another printer HP officejet pro 9022e which works perfectly on the same laptop, however it is a inkjet and for non color printing the laser is far better and faster.
