Changed router and now printer is firmly stuck offline. Unable to print via network access. Have not been able to factory reset.

Any advice?

Hi,

Make sure there is no USB cable connected to the printer and restart the printer, ensure the power light sold lit.

Restore the network settings for a Laserjet printer, make sure your Mac is wirelessly connected to your home network, then open HP Smart and follow the steps to reconfigure the wireless connection of the printer:

Thanks, I've tried following that support page without success. Printer continues to identify the previous router, unable to revert printer to factory setting.

Only work around has been to use the wifi direct function, though would still like to have the printer setup for network function.

Let's try the following workaround:

  1. Connect to the WiFi Direct network.
  2. Browse from your browser to the EWS page of the printer - http://192.168.223.1/, are you able to access this URL?
  3. Open the Network tab and select Wireless Configuration
  4. Select your new SSID and provide its security Passpharse, then press Apply.
  5. Now check if the printer connects to your home network and the wireless light become stable, then connect back to your home WiFi.
