Product: HP 5055

My HP 5055 setup cartridges got thrown away by a custodian at the school where I teach. I bought replacements so I can use the device, but when I installed them, it says I need the set up devices. What can I do to bypass this step, so I can still use the printer & HP Instank ink accounts I purchased? Thanks!

I suggest you check my private message for steps on performing a full reset, the instructions are designed for your specific printer and if anyone with a different model would try the steps, it may render the printer unstable, hence a private message would be the safest way of sharing this information:
