Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My daughter was using this printer for college.  She has lost the manual and I'm having some issues with it.

 

First, I can see the printer is out of black ink.  I need to change the cartridge (I have one) but I don't know how to proceed.

 

Second, I can't get my laptop to talk to the printer.  I've downloaded the drivers and firmware for Windows 10 (64-bit) and installed them but I'm not getting anywhere.

 

The printer is connected to the internet.  I have a Ubee modem from Time Warner Cable (now Spectrum). 

TWC Model: DVW32CB.   Ubee Part No.: DVW32C1.  

 

And, point of information here, I had a solid state drive installed on my DELL Inspiron 17R along with the latest update of Windows 10 (64-bit) around the end of the first week this last May by the Geek squad at Best Buy.  Runs like a champ now.

 

Thanks in advance for your help and suggestions.  I'll be getting ready for work now so I won't be able to tackle this again until tomorrow morning. :generic:
