Linux

hi Folks,

I'm using the mf1536 on a Linux box and it was working properly for quite a while (years).

Recently something has changed in the setup of the printer.

I'm not sure what exactly changed the behaviour (OS, or driver update).

I'm running Linux Mint v20.3/v21.x.

The printer is connected via Ethernet.

Suddenly the printer is always printing 2-sided when if I have only one page to print and the mode is set to one-sided.

In addition, it has changed the 'facing'  of the sheet. In the past on a single sheet, it was face-up and now it has to be face-down.

It removed already the driver and had it reinstalled. Still the same behaviour.

It updated the driver via CUPS but that didn't help either.

This is so annoying to me in particular when printing labels on a single sheet of paper.

I'm hoping someone knows the solution for that problem.

If more details are needed, please let me know.

Many thanks in advance.
