Today I received this critical security update notice for my HP LaserJet Pro MFP M225dw - https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c06990695?hprpt_id=HPGL_ALERTS_3013561&jumpid=em_alerts_us-us_...

 

The recommended firmware update to mitigate the issue is version 20211122 , but the most recent firmware available at https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-laserjet-pro-mfp-m225-series/6778491/model/67784... is over a year old, version 20210107

 

I'm unable to contact HP support since the warranty is now expired, and the option to purchase HP Out of Warranty Phone seems a bit unreasonable to have to pay for when it comes to a critical firmware security update download, so I'm wondering - does anyone else here maybe know of a way to obtain the new firmware update?
