Hi,
Please clarify your printer model to better understand its capabilities, many current HP printers are not compatible with 10.12 and require a later version.

Hello @paolo_1970 .
Please use the following driver:
https://updates.cdn-apple.com/2019/cert/041-84867-20191010-f40f1c8a-91c7-43b4-bb49-c9050f77ce00/Hewl...
Another option:
Connect the printer to your Mac with a USB cable or to the same Wi-Fi network that your Mac is connected to.
Open System Preferences and click Print & Scan or Printers & Scanners.
Click the Plus sign to see the list of available printers.
In the Add Printer window, select your printer from the Default tab or enter the printer's IP address in the IP tab.
From the Use menu, select Generic PostScript Printer, or if the postscript driver does not appear, select Generic PCL Printer.
Add the printer to the print queue to complete the configuration.

Thanks for clarifying @paolo_1970
Please follow below version of HP Easy Start, as soon as it launches open the top HP Easy Start menu and select Uninstall HP Software.
Follow the steps on screen and then click on Set Up New Device and follow the steps to reinstall the printer:
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/HP_Quick_Start/osx/Applications/HP_Easy_Start.app.zip
As soon as HP Easy start prompts to install HP Smart, close HP Easy Start and press the Skip to Software Download button, then follow the steps on screen to complete the installation and check for any difference.
