For the past 3 months my fairly new printer decided to stop printing.
The front light turned from blue to orange.
I have tried the HP Smart - it just says printer cannot print, log on to HP account
I have logged on to HP account and followed ALL their confusing baffled rubbish, update drivers, removing and starting again etc etc.
I still have the same problem and trying to get HP to answer is proving impossible.
Anyone had same problem and if so, how did you solve the issue?
Many thanks

Hi @there,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
I see that you are facing printing issues with your HP LaserJet MFP M234dw Printer.
Please download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor on the computer connected to the printer.
1. Download HP Print and Scan Doctor from this link: https://support.hp.com/us-en/help/printscandoctor
2. Run HPPSdr.exe from the download location on your computer.
3. Once HP Print and Scan Doctor opens, click Start, and then select your printer.
4. If your printer is not in the list, turn it off and on and then click Retry.
5. If there is a connection problem, follow the instructions in HP Print and Scan Doctor.
6. If the screen displays prompting to turn on printer updates, click Yes and continue.
7. If the screen displays prompting to make your printer the default printer, click Yes and continue.
You may also refer to this document to know how to use HP Print and Scan Doctor.

Hi @garbagehelp,
Please follow the steps listed below to uninstall and reinstall the drivers.

1.) In Windows, search for and open Programs and features
2.) Select your HP Printer
3.) Select Uninstall
4.) In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers
5.) In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose 'Delete' or 'Remove Device'
6.) Open up the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo.
7.) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”)
8.) Click on the "Drivers" tab
9.) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom
10.) Select Ok
11.) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows
12.) Close Devices and Printers
13.) Open up the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo
14.) Type c:/programdata and click Ok. Go to Hewlett Packard folder, remove any printer related folders & files.

Thank you for the private message saying to call support.
I have also previously tried that and they can not help either!
Will not be buying another HP printer, as con not believe how poor the support is and at the end of it all, there is no solution.
