Hi,

After I upgraded my laptop to Windows 11 I started having problems with the printer.

I'm able to print, but there are few issues

- the printout is scaled and uses only about 25% of the page size (located in the middle of the top half of the page)

- some rubbish is printed on the around 15% of the sheet next to the "correct" printout. The "rubbish" is a mix of black and grey lines + chaotic pieces taken from the original printout.

- the rest is empty

The problems don't seem to be related to any specific application. It's a general problem

Please have a look at the picture attached. The same page was printed on two sheets

Have you ever printouts looking like this? Does the printer behave this way because it is not mentioned on the list of Windows 11 compatible HP printers: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_4839960-4840167-16 ?

Are there any plans to add support for HP LaserJet PRO MFP M25-M27 Series printers in Windows 11?

Or the reason may be different?

BR,

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • Are you able to make copies from the printer?

Let's try these steps to resolve the issue:

Download and run HP Print and Scan Doctor: Follow steps from the link: Click here  If the issue persists, follow the next steps.

Root level uninstall and reinstall printer drivers

  • Go to Control panel – Programs and feature – Select all the HP LaserJet printer entries and uninstall them.
  • Now go to Control panel – Devices and printer – Select all the printer entries and remove the device.
  • Then press the "windows key" + "r" to get the "Run" window open - Type "printui.exe /s" and press enter.
  • Under print server properties, go to drivers - remove any entry there as well.
  • Again, go to run window, type – “c:/programdata” – Go to Hewlett Packard folder, remove any printer related folders & files.

To reinstall, click here.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

Hi @Echo_Lake,

I used "HP Print and Scan Doctor" and this tool managed to resolve the issue.

Now the printer is not visible in Windows as "HP LaserJet Pro MFP M26nw" as it was before, but as "Microsoft IPP Class Driver". But finally it works fine, and the printouts are fully correct!

Many thanks!

Piotr
