Color Laser Jet Pro MFP M277c6
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I just bought the printer and later downloaded a firmware update from this URL

https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-color-laserjet-pro-mfp-m277-series/7089945/model...

and after running the program, the software said it's completed with smiley face. However, the printer is now showing "Ready 2 Download fw is corruPt" and unresponsive. Please advise what should I do?

Thanks

Good Day. A warm welcome to the HP community.

I reviewed the case regarding issues with the printer. I will be delighted to assist you here.

I recommend you delete the driver and root level and retry, follow the steps below:

In Windows, search for and open Programs and features

2.) Select your HP Printer

3.) Select Uninstall

4.) In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers

5.) In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose `Delete' or `Remove Device'

6.) Open up the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo.

7.) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between "printui.exe" and "/s")

8.) Click on the "Drivers" tab

9.) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom

10.) Select Ok

11.) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows

12.) Close Devices and Printers

Once done, follow this link and install the driver. 🙂

I followed all of your steps and download the HP Driver from below link

https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/swdetails/HP-Color-LaserJet-Pro-MFP-M277-series/708...

The printer is turned on and connected via LAN while the printer display still shows "Ready 2 Download FW is corruPt."

The driver installation comes to "Connect the Product", but it complained "Network Product(s) Not Found" and that is where I stop.

Please further advice.

I also tried to remove ethernet wire and connected via USB. The HP driver also complained on the page "Connect your Product now" and give only "back" option. So, I couldn't install the driver.

Great Barachiel, I'll try with your new link.

However, I'd like to ensure that the problem it seems so far is on my printer when I updated its "firmware" and caused this error message. Your direction so far is for me to work on reinstalling the driver on my computer. I want to ensure we are coming to the right troubleshooting, right?

Thanks

I tried to run HP Print and Scan Doctor 5.1 and it didn't find any printer via Ethernet, so I switched to USB and it found USB Printing Support, and the noted that The full software solution for your product is not installed on this computer. Then, I went back to run the HP Printer Driver again and it got stuck at the same error prior "Connect your Product now" and there was only a Back button that I couldn't move forward.

BTW, the HP Print and Scan Doctor 5.1 has a button "Get Installer" and it pointed me to below URL.

https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/HP-Click-printing-software/15550865

Which it doesn't seem to be correct, so I retried the HP driver HP_Color_LJ_Pro_MFP_M277-full-solution-15343.exe instead. Also,

Also for your given link, I finished only Step 1 & 2 and got stuck at reinstall the HP driver. So, I didn't even go to Step #3, which has first two broken link.
