We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

 

follow these steps to troubleshoot:

Set Printer as Default

  • Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & Scanners
  • Click on your HP M283cdw
  • Select Manage > Set as Default

Remove & Reinstall Printer

  • In Printers & Scanners, click on your printer and select Remove Device
  • Restart the laptop
  • Reinstall the printer using HP Smart or HP’s official drivers from HP’s website

Check Printer Queue & Status

  • Open Control Panel > Devices and Printers
  • Right-click your printer and select See What’s Printing
  • If any jobs are stuck, click Cancel All Documents

Change Printing Preferences

  • Right-click the printer in Devices and Printers
  • Select Printing Preferences > Advanced
  • Ensure it’s set to Print in Color (if applicable)

Test Printing from Another App

  • Try printing from Notepad or Word instead of the print screen
  • If it works there, the issue might be with the software you’re using
