Microsoft Windows 11

I just installed this printer. I'm connecting using a Microsoft Surface Pro 9 via USB. I've tried printing test pages, from Adobe Acrobat and from Microsoft Word. Even when the "Print in grayscale" is NOT selected, it will still only print documents in grayscale. I checked the printer, and when I choose "Supplies" on the screen, and then "Report" it will print in color. But nowhere else I can find. So this is probably some kind of driver error. I updated all the drivers and software, I ran HP Print and Scan Doctor, and it found no problems. Restarted the computer, restarted the printer. Disconnected and reconnected the printer. Uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers. Nothing seems to get it to print in color. All of the cartridges are properly installed and there doesn't seem to be any damage to them.
