I am having trouble since my MacBook updated to Big Sur 11.0.1. I cannot get my printer to connect and if I use the usb to connect I do not get all the printing options. For example, I can no longer choose to printer photos from the photo tray. Can anyone else me on fixing this issue.

Hi,

Please follow below version of HP Easy Start, as soon as it launches open the top HP Easy Scan menu and select Uninstall HP Software.

Follow the steps on screen and then click on Set Up New Device and follow the steps to reinstall the printer:

OS: Big Sur 11.01

Product: HP Officejet 6700

 

I have done all the tasks, updated my drivers, and I *STILL* get the message, "waiting for printer to become available".  Just like before.  PLEASE help!! 

 

UPDATE: it appears it's only the USB connection that isn't working.  I'm able to print using wireless.  Let's fix this!!  HP 6700 message.jpg
