Yes, Mac OS Ventura, v 13.0.1 has broken my scan-to-PDF function as well.
Important clue: when I scan, the document actually appears properly in the HP Easy Scan software (v 1.10.0) thumbnails. But after I send the document to a folder, it shows up as a blank white page.
If I send it as a JPG to a folder instead of a PDF, it saves fine. Only the save-to-PDF function is broken. Time consuming work around: I have Adobe Acrobat so I then combine the JPGs into a single document and save that to a PDF.
It's very strange that the scan looks normal in the scan software itself, but cannot be exported correctly any more.
