Hi

I got new Mac and I did not expect any problems with connecting printer wirelessly to computer.

1. First I connected my printer and my Mac to wireless network. But when I tried adding printer the list was empty. I also tried adding it with IP adress and combined it with all available protocols  - nothing.

2. Then I downloaded HP Easy Start: got printer on factory setting, got to the point where Mac send the network information to the printer and printer connected to the network, but then Mac could not find the printer on that network (see screenshots)

3. Then I decided to buy usb cable to connect Mac with printer (only this and direct printer wifi works btw) and tried converting usb to wireless connection (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UJ3OUkc2_fM). Did not work - see screenshots.

I tried everything listed several times, including restarting my computer / printer / router.

A warm welcome to HP Support Community! I'd like to help.

Do you have any antivirus software installed on your Mac?

Do you have 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks enabled on your WiFi router?

What's the make and model of your WiFi router?

Approximately how far is the printer located from the WiFi router?

Could you check for WiFi interference and also perform a ping test using the Mac Network Utility and let me know the results. Use the printer IP address to perform a ping test.
