Product: HP Deskjet 1212 printer
Operating System: macOS 10.15 Catalina

HP Deskjet 1212 printer is not recognised by Hp Smart App or Hp easy start APP on mac osx catalina.

I was able to get HP deskjet 1212 to work with Mac osx catalina by using the driver provided here https://support.apple.com/kb/DL1888?locale=en_IN and selecting HP Deskjet 1510 series as the driver.

@Prashant_s, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

According to the printer specifications, this model printer is not compatible with macOS. Hence, there is no printer driver available for macOS on the Hp Support site.
