I'm trying to print payroll checks, and the printer works great except that it's needs to be moved up on the page about a quarter inch so that the routing number and the account number show above the perforation and they're not showing below the perforation how do I adjust that

Hi @madaba,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
Adjusting the printing position on your HP printer may require adjusting the print settings in the software you are using to print your payroll checks. Here are some general steps you can follow:
Check Printer Properties:
- Open the document you want to print.
- Go to the "File" menu and select "Print."
- In the print dialog box, look for an option like "Properties" or "Printer Properties."
Adjust Margins or Paper Size:
- Within the printer properties, look for settings related to margins or paper size.
- Ensure that the paper size selected matches the actual size of your checks.
- Adjust the margins if there are options for that.
Print Preview:
- Some applications have a print preview option. Use this to see how the document will be printed.
- Check if there are options to adjust the position of the content on the page.
Page Layout:
- If you're using software like Microsoft Word, check the page layout settings.
- Ensure that the content is positioned correctly within the page.
Printer Preferences:
- In the printer properties, there might be a section for preferences or advanced settings.
- Look for any options related to print position or alignment.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
