Hi  @Gaathegreat,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

I hear your concern on how this must be especially if your printer is wasting paper and ink by printing information pages you didn’t request, and you’re unable to get your actual documents printed.

Could you please share the exact model number of your HP printer ?

  • To better understand the issue, can you confirm a few details:
  • Are the pages it prints labeled as “Printer Information” or “Configuration Report”?
  • Does this happen every time you power on or send a print job, or even when idle?
  • Are you printing from a computer, mobile device, or directly from the printer’s panel?

In the meantime, here are few steps you can try:

Check the Print Queue: On your computer, open the printer queue and clear any stuck jobs. Sometimes repeated info pages are triggered by a corrupted job.

Disable Automatic Reports: You can go into Setup → Reports on the printer’s touchscreen and turn off “Print Information Pages” or “Print Configuration Pages.”.

I hope this helps.

I'm an HP Employee.
