This totally worked for me - thank you so much! I tried other fixes which included uninstalling and reinstalling my printer and software but it didn't work. These steps you provided here finally worked.

Thank you - I was able to print but the scanner is still not working.

When this problem developed last Sat., I went to the apple store.  They uninstalled all of the printer files.  I had to go home where my printer was located and wait for a call from Apple tech to reinstall the printer files.  When that was all completed, my printer would pro nt but not scan.  I then used the method in message #30 posted here and it worked like a charm.  Everything works, actually even better than before (quicker printer response, etc.).  The procedure in #30 involves more than just reinstalling the printer files.  Read the post there and it explains it.  Good luck.

Forgot to add that there is a YouTube video explaining the procedure in Message #30.  Here is the link:

Thank  you.  I followed the directions and my Officejet Pro 8620 prints.  However, I still have the " HPDM.framework" error popping up and my scanner still won't work.  Anyone still having the same issue?

I did this and it did not stop the messages that pop up every few seconds. I cannot use my computer like this.
