Hello,
I have a problem with my HP ColorLaserJet CM1312nfi MFP printer to print double-sided (duplex) in manual mode, since I use Windows11.
I have installed a HP Universal Printing PCL6 -v7.0.1 driver or the PS version.
I have also checked that the duplex unit is installed in the device settings of the driver.
If I try to print a file with Adobe Acrobat Reader and I ask it to print in duplex, it prints all the pages directly, without a duplex process in manual mode. I also have to install the drivers several times.
On previous versions of Windows OS, there was a little message on the PC screen telling me how to print to make duplex by taking the pack of sheets and putting it back to print. This was very practical.
I also tried to install "HP Color LaserJet CM1312 MFP Series Full Solution". Unfortunately towards the end of the installation, the software asks to connect the printer to USB and it does not recognise the printer, so the program cannot install correctly.
Ps: I also tried to do it manually by printing the odd sheets and then the even sheets, but the orientation of the sheets does not seem obvious with this printer.
What solutions could be considered to solve this problem, which seems rather difficult to me?
Thanks a lot for your answer

Hello,
Finally, I solved the problem by connecting the printer to my internal network with an IP number. I installed "HP Color LaserJet CM1312 MFP Series Full Solution", and used the printer as a network printer. The printer has an ethernet port and I connected a ethernet cable with an internal network. The installation was then done normally and the printer is well recognised. The scanner also works with the supplied HP program. Now, I can do again manuel duplex printing as in the previous WindowsOS. The HP Smart program is quite easy to use and does not recognise the printer as easily, but I can always go back to connecting the printer via USB if other operation is required (reading a sd card for example).
