getting popup will damage my macbook

**bleep**

I've been round and around with HP support. won't help b/c out of warranty. Seriously?

are these capitalists seriously not making updates to force consumers to purchase a new printer ?
the app does not work - tried that

the support center doesn't have a solution - tried that

I tried to send feedback but when i hit submit it gave me an error and wouldn't even allow me to send.

i will be buying a new printer - i must. But it won't be an HP - you can be sure of that.

Hi,

First, please make sure your macOS is fully up to date with any of its latest updates:

https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201541

Next, follow HP Easy Start to uninstall any installed software.

You may find the steps to uninstall with HP Easy Start below:

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/HP_Quick_Start/osx/Applications/HP_Easy_Start.app.zip

You may follow the exact steps to uninstall the drivers with HP Easy Start below:

https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c02440673

Once the uninstall completes and you see the Set Up New Device button, exit HP Easy Start.

Next, download and install the latest drivers below:

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/HP_Quick_Start/osx/Applications/ASU/HPPrinterDrivers5.1.dm...

Once completing the installation, ensure the printer is ready and connect it to the Mac, then go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners and click the plus sign.

Select your printer, then select the printer model within the Use drop-down menu and try printing.

Please let me know if that helps,

Shlomi
