OK, maybe I'm a dummy but I can't find the entire proper ftp string in this post. No right click on my mac mouse, of course, and the extension i find further on in the replies when added to the clipped string doesn't work either.
Can someone past the entire ftp string in this post so it's legible? Thanks.

Here's a summary of what I did. It worked for me, don't ask why (I gave up trying to answer those questions years ago), I only can say it did the job for me:
1. When you get the error message window saying a certain file will damage your computer, press the button to "Show in Finder" and delete it. Repeat for all the windows as there may be more than one file.
2. Uninstall any HP apps you have, just go to Applications and send to trash,
3. Download the package from FTP. I used Chrome to download it, some said Safari won't work. The link is: ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/HP_Quick_Start/osx/Installations/Essentials/hp-printer-essen...
4. Install that package.
5. Install Easy Setup, it will guide you through the rest to reinstall all your apps.
Hope it helps and kudos to Bryan for this.

Thanks for the string. I have the package now but I'm holding off since deleting the HPDM framework stopped that message and I was able to still print. I'm sure I'll get more from other frameworks and goodness knows what else but I'll keep deleting what makes sense before going through the whole process. Very frustrating since Apple says this is a "clean up old certs" thing HP requested but wasn't much help either. Might be time for Epson printers and PC again - hope you're curating this, HP

Thanks to Bryan.
I tried multiple times and I could tell I was making progress, but I kept getting those crazy messages. Here's what worked:
1. IMPORTANT! Use the HP Uninstaller App to uninstall the whole mess - any and all HP Apps. There's a lot that CleanMyMac X did not find. Then go back with another uninstaller and check again. HP Easy Setup was still installed.
2. Download the package from FTP. I used Brave to download it. The link is: ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/HP_Quick_Start/osx/Installations/Essentials/hp-printer-essen...
4. Install that package.
5. Install HP Easy Setup, it will guide you through the rest to reinstall all your apps.
Finally...
