HP ENVY Pro 6455 All-in-One Printer

HP Envy Pro 6455 printer that I've used for years won't print.  It is connected to my home network/computer but the error message says the driver is unavailable.  I use HP Smart, but that does not resolve the problem.  I downloaded the driver from 123.hp.com and that also does not resolve the problem.  I continue to get the message that the driver is unavailable.  Suggestions?  Thanks.

The full feature software of April 2024 is available.  Maybe that will help

Full feature software click here Apr 2024

In case you need to reconnect to the network.

This video shows how to connect WiFi using a smartphone  but a laptop could be used

A hard reset requires the cartridge door be open

If no smartphone then use the WPS or pushbutton method discussed on page 28 of the users manual

InkJet Reference
This printer supports 2.4 and 5ghz bands.  If you have problems with it disconnecting from the network I recommend you set it to use only the 2.4ghz band.  At the printers control panel look for the option to select 2.4, 5ghz or "auto" and select 2.4. If the printer does not have those options then you will have to log into the modem and rename one of the bands.
