Photosmart C7280
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The INSTALL button is missing when installing printer driver/software to a clean Win10 upgrade -only EXIT is shown.
Downloaded current sotware from HP for Win10/64 bit as well - but it shows same file last downloaded in 2014??; "PS_AIO_02_Net_Full_Win_WW_130_140.exe @ 319,452 KB"

Ran file as adminstrator - but stuck now.

Thx for any advice!

Thanks very much for advice - all sorted now,

I use Firefox and kept trying until it went through - HP ought to have a better system though as this problem has existed for years and I don't encounter it with any other upgrades and I rebuild pc every two years .. I can only get limited data plans here and downloading over 1.5GB for 1 stupid printer update is absurd.

Can't find where to mark as "solution accepted" as per email advice???

Hi,

The dile you describe is intended for Windows 7, not for Windows 8.

Download and install the following software for Windows 10:

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/COL30662/mp-110038-3/PS_AIO_02_Net_Full_Win_WW_140_408-5.ex...

Thanks for that Shlomi - the file I had was the one returned when I went through the tick the box selection on HP site...aarrgh...

When I start the download recommended it always hangs up at about 80Mb....Had this problem last time from HP too on the Win7 64bit upgrade and ended up trying many times until it went through...
Is there a download site closer to Australia?

If not, thanks for advice and help, anyway.

Hi,

The download sites are located at the USA.

Try downloading the file using another browser such as Firefox or Chrome or us a download acceelerator such as FDC, a such may highly help from my expereince.

FDM can be downloaded from the following URL:

http://www.freedownloadmanager.org/

Hope that may help,

Shlomi
