Since upgrading to the FutureSmart 4.5 firmware (2405129_000048) we are unable to turn on "Job Build" for a scan or copy job.

It used to be that you could specify "Job build" and create a multi-page PDF by manually scanning each page from the glass. It no longer has that option. Can someone help?

Hi,

You need to use a different process.

Select Scan

Select PREVIEW
After the first scan, select the 3rd button to add pages

Follow instructions to add more pages.

When done, select done.

That should be it.

This is a problem for us as well.  Please advise for a workaround or release a new firmware update

Well THAT's obvious and intuitive (not).

Thanks for the response.

Thanks for asking because I never would have found the answer otherwise. As the job build feature is unrelated to the function of previewing, I never would have thought to click the "Preview" button. FutureSmart 4 did a great job of simplifying the UI, but it seems to have gone straight from beta to production without QA checks in between.
