HP OfficeJet 5222

I purchased the OfficeJet 5222 and immediately bought back up cartridges as I had a rather large job to do.  Went home to set it up and found there were no SETUP cartridges.  I thought I would be able to just use the normal ones but the printer won't let me progress past this in the set up.  

 

I see others have had luck with a bypass?  Can someone please help?  I would really like to not return this to the store and find another printer that uses the same ink cartridges.

@Jency72, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

To bypass the message on the printer the only option left is to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.  

  

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.  

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.

I have this same issue. Is there anyway you can send me the steps to reinitialize my printer. It's an Hp Officejet 5222
