I have multiple IP addresses on this printer.... One is chosen by DHCP inside the pool and another is chosen outside the DHCP pool I have set. As far as I know this Printer only had 1 IP address. Which is kind of odd. What is the cause of it ? Is my printer used to syphon off information from my computers ? When starting the software, it asks which printer I want to connect to.
One displays "Network", the other says Name of the Printer which is visible in the router. The other is not visible in the router. It looks like a static IP. Static IP's don't appear in my router or are not visible.
When I run HP Print and Scan Doctor 5.2.1, it shows three things. I will describe exactly the wording:
1. HP Officejet Pro 8600 (NET)
2. HP Officejet Pro 8600 (Network)
3. HP ePrint + JetAdvantage
All are installed according to Print and Scan Doctor.
I have got Windows 10 Pro 64Bit Version 1903.

Hi,
What are the exact IP Addresses shown for the printer?
May any of the address is shown as 192.168.223.1? (Which is the Wi-Fi Direct IP Address, assuming you may directly connected to the Wi-Fi Direct network host by the printer).
Shlomi

Sorry that is not the IP address. It is different. It has a different pool not 192.168.223.1 It has 192.168.XXX.21. Not sure why there need to be two IP addresses for Wifi Direct. I don't use it as Wifi Direct anyways. I can't because of my close proximity of neighbourhood congestion with routers overlap. I have got a Brother Network Printer and that one does not use two IP addresses. You can use NFC or Wifi Direct either without having extra IP address.

Where do you see the 2 IP Addresses?
On the printer screen? on the HP Print and Scan Doctor Utility? on any screen on your computer?
What are the exact IP Addresses?
Can you access the EWS page by browsing any specific IP Address from the web browser on your computer?

Thanks for your reply. I see them in Hp Scan doctor as I said in the first post. See above. Replicate it yourself if you can.
The DHCP address pool is in 198.169.XXX.XXX. So if it is 198.168.123.123 lets say 50 IP address. It is between that. But the second one will be outside the DHCP pool. And it will be hidden as I said.
Because it is not in the DHCP pool. Let's say if I had a managed switch or another hardware and set the IP manually there, you won't see the router displaying it. It would if it was Auto DHCP. The same is with the HP printer.
