The upgrade is not recognizing the details of my machine and not loading the upgrades

Could this be correct and how do I correct the ID info

To help us get started on resolving your issue, could you please try a few troubleshooting steps provided below so that I can assist you further?
 

Perform a Hard Reset

  • Keep the printer turned on.
  • Unplug the power cord from the back of the printer.
  • Wait for 60 seconds, then plug it back in.

Verify Network Connection

  • Check the wireless status on the printer control panel.
  • Ensure the printer is properly connected to your Wi-Fi network.

Update Firmware via Control Panel

  • On the printer screen, navigate to:
    • Menu > Tools > Maintenance > Firmware > Check
  • Install any available updates.

Use the HP Smart App

  • Make sure you are signed in to the HP Smart app.
  • Use the same account linked to Instant Ink or HP+.

Resolve “Setup Cartridge” Errors

  • If prompted for setup cartridges, confirm you are using the original SETUP cartridges provided with the printer.
  • Standard replacement cartridges may not work until the printer is fully initialized.
