Hy,
please have a look to this Autotest and you will directly understand what goes wrong with my printer:
It seems to me that it is disaligned (pay attention to the 4 horizontal stripes at the back of the AutoTest page), but I can't find a way to fix it.
Any help will be great !!!
Thanks in advance.
Eric
PS: I allways use new and original HP cartriges.

@R1C, Welcome to HP Support Community,
Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue
It looks like your HP Color LaserJet has alignment issues, as seen in the misaligned horizontal color bands on the autotest page. Since you've already tried calibrating using HP Toolbox on an older Windows 7 computer but saw no improvements, let's analyze the situation further.
Answering Your Key Question:
When you perform calibration on the printer, the values are stored inside the printer itself, not the computer. This means that after calibrating on your Windows 7 machine, the printer should retain those settings even when reconnected to your Windows 10 computer.
Try performing these steps:
Try running the calibration multiple times through HP Toolbox.
Ensure the printer is warmed up before calibrating (print a few pages first).

Check if your printer’s firmware is up to date. Outdated firmware might not apply calibration correctly.
Update the firmware on an HP printer | HP® Support
If calibration doesn't fix the problem, the transfer belt might be misaligned or worn.
Inspect the imaging drum for any damage or dirt. You may refer to the user guide: User guide
Since even factory reset and recalibration didn’t help, there could be a physical misalignment inside the printer.
If comfortable, check inside the printer for any loose components or gears.
Cartridge Seating
Even though you use original HP cartridges, make sure they are firmly seated in their slots.
I hope these steps help resolve the issue

It seems that the drivers available for download on Windows 10 are the basic print drivers only. They do not include the HP Toolbox utility.
Is Toolbox the only way to calibrate/aligne/clean print heads (or whatever the name) ?

I've connected an old computer with Windows 7 to the printer, after installing the driver the ToolBox was installed too.
I've restaured to factory settings, and then calibrated.
Nothing changes, on the autotest print the colors are still not correctly horizontal.
Please help.

Here's a real important question regarding my problem:
After a calibration, are the values stocked inside the printer, or in the computer?
I mean: I've restored and calibrated the printer with another computer, and then reconnect it on my main computer.
If the good values stayed in the other computer, it's logical that there are no changes.

Hi,
thank you for your very complete answer !!!
Here's the way I managed to aligned perfectly:
I've calibrated with ToolBox on an older Windows 7 computer, but only once wasn't enough.
I've calibrated, and printed the configuration page.
The colors have moved a little but not enough.
So I've repeated these two steps (calibration + printing) several times, until the colors are perfectly aligned.
Then I've reinstalled my printer on my actual Windows 10 computeur, and the calibration values were stored inside the printer (Just as you told me!).
I'm so happy now, because my printer is "as new" !!!
The only thing which is not cool: Why not a ToolBox running with Windows 10/11 ?
All these crazy steps to calibrate a printer!
Thanks again!!!
Best regards.
Eric
