My HP 7155 printer has been working great until the past week. It has been stuck on this loading screen and will not move to the next step. I have unplugged from the machine and the wall for 60 seconds up to a whole day. I have unplugged it and held down the power button to clear any residual power. I have tried connecting my computer to the printer, but have had no luck moving the screen forward.

Any additional suggestions are welcome.

Hi @LAVAL2131

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query.

I understand that  your HP ENVY Photo 7155 printer is stuck on the loading screen and previous troubleshooting steps haven't resolved the issue, here are a few additional steps you can try.

Perform a Hard Reset:

  • Turn off the printer.
  • Disconnect the power cord from the back of the printer and from the wall outlet.
  • Wait for at least 60 seconds.
  • Reconnect the power cord to the wall outlet and then to the printer.
  • Turn on the printer and see if it progresses past the load screen.

Check for Paper Jams:

  • Ensure there are no paper jams or obstructions inside the printer.
  • Open the access door and remove any visible paper or debris.

Remove and Reinsert Ink Cartridges:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it.
  • Open the ink cartridge access door and remove the ink cartridges.
  • Close the door, plug in the printer, and turn it on.
  • Wait for the printer to prompt you to install the ink cartridges, then reinsert them.

Update Firmware:

  • If possible, check if there is a firmware update available for your printer on the HP support website.
  • Follow the instructions to update the firmware.

Factory Reset:

  • Perform a factory reset on the printer. Note that this will restore the printer to its default settings.
  • Turn off the printer and unplug it.
  • Hold down the Power button while plugging the power cord back in.
  • Release the Power button after 15 seconds.
  • Follow any on-screen prompts to complete the reset.

Hope this helps, Please revert if the issue persists.

Take care and have an amazing day!

I'm an HP Employee.
