Hello,
My HP Envy 6000e printer isready, connected, and on-line. However it won't print. Al taht happens is that I get two sheets of paper one plain and the other with two vrtical lines and the HP symbol with minature icons for a printer ,wireless and a tick in a circle. I have deleted and re-installed the printer as default from the smart app , but the results are the same. Any ideas anyone?

Hi @PW25-, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It looks like your HP ENVY 6032e printer is printing a Printer Status Report instead of your actual print job. This usually happens due to a communication issue, incorrect printer settings, or a problem with the print queue. Try the following steps to resolve the issue:
Restart Printer and Computer
- Turn off the printer, unplug it for one minute, and then turn it back on.
- Restart your computer.
- Try printing again.
Clear Print Queue
- Press Win + R, type control printers, and press Enter.
- Right-click on your HP ENVY 6032e and select See what’s printing.
- Click Printer in the top menu and select Cancel All Documents.
- Try printing again.
Set the Correct Printer as Default
- Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners.
- Click on HP ENVY 6032e, select Manage, and set it as the default printer.
- Ensure you are selecting the correct printer when printing.
Update/Reinstall Printer Drivers
- Open Device Manager (Win + X > Device Manager).
- Expand Print queues.
- Right-click on HP ENVY 6032e and choose Update driver.
- If the issue persists, uninstall the printer from Settings > Printers & scanners and reinstall it via HP Smart.
Disable Print Reports
- Open HP Smart or HP Printer Assistant.
- Look for Printer Settings > Preferences.
- Disable Automatic Printer Reports or Diagnostics Page.
- Save settings and restart the printer.
Try a Different Connection Method
- If using Wi-Fi, restart your router and reconnect the printer.
- If possible, try USB or Wi-Fi Direct to see if it prints normally.
Perform a Factory Reset
- Press and hold the Wireless + Cancel button together until the printer restarts.
- Set up the printer again using HP Smart.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
