Stopped printing when I changed paper size (maybe a coincidence). When I changed back, still won't print. Icon appears in the Dock, printer appears to be gearing up, then the icon disappears, the printer goes back into hibernation and there's nothing in the print queue. I've tried resetting the wifi and switching on and off already, no joy.

Hi @1Thackeray,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like the HP ENVY 6132 may be having a communication issue after the paper size change. Let's try the following steps to resolve the problem.
Check Printer's Display Panel: Make sure there are no errors or warning messages on the printer's screen (if applicable). Clear any such messages if present.
Restart the Printer and Computer: Unplug the printer from the power source for about 30 seconds and plug it back in. Restart your computer to refresh the connection.
Clear Print Queue:
- Go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners.
- Select your HP ENVY 6132 printer and click Open Print Queue.
- If any jobs are stuck in the queue, click X to cancel them.
Reinstall Printer:
- Go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners.
- Select your HP ENVY 6132 and click the minus (-) button to remove it.
- Click the plus (+) button to add the printer again.
- Ensure that the printer is selected under "Nearby Printers" or reconnect via Wi-Fi if it's a wireless printer.
Update Printer Drivers:
- Make sure your printer drivers are up to date. Go to HP's support website or use the HP Smart app to check for updates.
Reset Printing System:
- If none of the above steps work, you can reset the printing system. This will remove all printers and reset settings:
- Go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners.
- Right-click (or Control-click) in the printers list and select Reset printing system.
- Add the printer again after the reset.
After following these steps, check if the printer starts working again.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
