Product: HP ENVY 7640 e-All-in-One Printer

I’ve been using this printer along with paying for my monthly ink subscription. But I called the other day to see how to change my payment card and was told that I can no longer use my printer and receive the ink for it because HP would no longer support my use of my printer and continue getting my ink subscription. Why???

General help on instant ink management

I do not have an instant ink printer. My understanding is that if you run out of ink you can use genuine Hewlett Packard cartridges either original or refilled. They must have an HP chip in the cartridge.
