Product: HP ENVY 6055 All-In-One Printer
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have owned the HP Envy 6055 printer for over a year and I am tired of it being left on all the time.  How can I make the printer go to sleep to save energy?

Welcome to the HP support community.

 

I understand that your printer does not sleep, I am glad to assist you.

Set the sleep mode on the printer to make the printer sleep when it is not in use, 

Follow these steps:-

  1. Open the embedded web server (EWS)
  2. Click the Settings tab.
  3. In the Power Management section, click Energy Save Mode, and select the desired option.
  4. Click Apply
