I recently purchased a brown new HP Laser jet pro MFP M130a. After the installation and downloaded the complete software and installed them, the printer does not recognize the wireless option and the small display attached in front does not give any information about wireless connection and operation. I want somebody to tell me what to do so I can use the wireless connection with my printer.
The information in the instruct manual is very scanty and is not user friendly at all. I'm getting frustrated with HP products.
It is the right time the HP should change its attitude particularly on the users' manuals of its products. They are just very users unfriendly.

Hello @rsadcom ,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
This is unfortunately true, as the printer only has a USB interface, i.e. no WLAN, no Ethernet and no WiFi!
Read here: Product Specifications for the HP LaserJet Pro MFP M130a Printer (G3Q57A)
Attention: this is an incorrect installation.
The HP software must be completely uninstalled and removed of the system.
First download only this complete package: "HP LaserJet Pro MFP M130a/132a and Ultra MFP M134a Full Feature Software and Drivers ", File name: LJM129-M134_UWWL_4-1_U_3_1_Full_WebPack_44.3.2667.exe (232.8 MB)
and
for the scanning download only this package: Readiris Pro 15 for HP
Then proceed as follows:
Check the system for
- TuneUp`s
- Optimization Tools
- Cleanup Tools
disable them, better uninstall them. Next...
- Disconnect printer/scanner from computer- remove the USB cable.- Do not switch off the printer >> unplug the power cord from the socket!
- right-click Start, search for "control panel" and open "Programs and Features"
uninstall all HP printer software > via "Programs and Features" - right-click Start, search for "control panel" and open "Devices and Printers"
In the "Devices and Printers" window look for your HP Printer. If you see it listed, right-click on it and choose "Delete" or "Remove Device.” - Restart the PC
- Close all programs
- Change File-Explorer-Settings:View > Options > "Change folder and search options" > Tab "View"
- enable > Show hidden files, folders and drives
- uncheck > Hide protected operating system files (Recommended)
- search for "HP [printer name]" and delete all this folders
- Empty the TEMP folders
A) C:\Users\[Your user account]\AppData\Local\Temp\
B) C:\Windows\Temp\ system files cannot be deleted! - Reconnect the printer to the power supply and switch it on (if this does not happen automatically)
- Restart the PC
- Close all programs
- Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo > in folder Downloads click on the EXE, see above.
Via USB, means wait until the installation asks to connect the printer/scanner.
Document error messages, even better is a screenshot and upload here.
After the installation without error, install readiris.
Note:
Change the File Explorer settings again -
- enable > Don`t show hidden files, folders or drives
- click button > Hide protected operating system files (Recommended)
- OK

Thanks for your response to my question. Your answer has not given solution to my concerns. I read through your submissions. In your submission, you admitted that the printer was not design for wireless operation, so what can I do?
You said the installation was not correct, but I read and followed all the instructions before I put the printer to operation.
Your submission did not give assurance that after the re-installation, the printer will work with wireless connection.
Please let HP Corporation tell me what to do to make it become wireless printer.
Once again, I thank you for your interest and kindness to solve my problems
Regards
Richardson.
