Product: p2035

Attached the p2035 to USB port. The computer sees the printer but I cannot print. I tried to install the ljp2035-gdi-pnp-win64-en.exe driver newly downloaded from HP. It looks like it works but the print job appears in queue the disappears without printing. I went though a utube rigmarole to add the printer manually but this failed. This printer works flawlessly and I hate to give it up.  Any suggestions?

HP Recommended

I just downloaded support assist for my new Dell and it detected an error and told me to restart my computer. My printer then automatically spit out 2 print test pages and I was able to print a shipping label I needed. Maybe a reboot was all that was needed.
