I cannot get my printer to print double sided when I am using a word document. Help, please

Thanks for visiting the HP community. 🙂 A very good day to you! 🙂 I read the post regarding issues with duplex printing from your HP printer while printing from Word.  I will be delighted to assist you here. 🙂

You’ve done an excellent job on diagnosing the issue from your end. Superb effort and spectacular research were done as well. 🙂 Kudos to you on that score. 🙂 . I take it as a privilege to share this platform with you. 🙂

 

For better clarity and to assist you better I would require more information regarding this:

  • Did this happen after an OS or software update?
  • For now please reset the Mac printing system from this link: http://hp.care/2s1Aa0C and then download the HP driver from this link: http://hp.care/2ueWb19 using HP Easy Start. Also, please update the firmware as well.
  • Then check again. This should do the trick for you.
     
  • For more information on duplex printing please check this link:http://hp.care/2ueLTOm
  • This should do the trick for you.
  • This is a very useful link: http://hp.care/2uf7OFm  for printer settings: 

Please perform all these steps patiently as it is critical to resolving the issue. This should do the trick for you.
