I have been using this printer for 6-8 months. it was working till yesterday. Today it refused to print. Under "printers and scanners" it said driver unavailable. I do not see anything under "uninstall programs" but I removed the printer from my "Printer and scanners". Restarted the computer and tried reinstalling using HP smart. The autoinstall didn't work, tried to it manually, same issue. Just says Driver not available. I downloaded the firmware and that shows there is nothing to update.

I even connected it via USB to my desktop (just to make sure it is not a wifi connectivity problem.

I am stuck.

Finally, this is the solution that worked like a charm! I deleted the printer from my Printer and scanner again and restarted the computer. After that hp smart suddenly did not ask to install the printer and I was able to print.
