Hi @Batbaby, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Printer connectivity!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Try these steps based on your connection type:
Check Connection Type
Are you using USB, Wi-Fi, or Bluetooth?
If USB Connection:
Check the USB Cable
- Ensure the cable is properly connected to both the printer and computer
- Try a different USB port on your computer
- If possible, use a different USB cable
Reinstall the Printer Driver
- Go to HP Support
- Search for "HP LaserJet MFP M139we"
- Download & install the latest Full Feature Software and Driver
- Restart your computer & printer
Set as Default Printer
- Windows: Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & Scanners, select your printer, and click Set as Default
- Mac: Go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners, add the printer, and set it as default
If Wireless (Wi-Fi) Connection:
Reconnect Printer to Wi-Fi
- Press and hold the Wi-Fi button on the printer for 5 seconds until the Wi-Fi light blinks
- Use HP Smart App to reconnect the printer to the same Wi-Fi as your computer
Restart Devices
- Restart your printer, computer, and Wi-Fi router
Check Firewall Settings
- Ensure firewall or antivirus isn’t blocking the printer connection
If Bluetooth Connection:
- Your printer does NOT support Bluetooth, so use USB or Wi-Fi instead
Run HP Print and Scan Doctor (Windows Only)
- Download HP Print and Scan Doctor from here
- Run the tool and follow the instructions to diagnose the issue
If your printer still won’t connect, let me know:
- Your Windows version (Windows 10/11)?
- Are you using USB or Wi-Fi?
- Any error messages on the printer or PC?
I'll guide you further! 😊
I'm glad I could help! 😊 If this resolved your issue, please mark it as "Accepted Solution" and click "Yes" on "Was this reply helpful?"—your feedback not only keeps us going but also helps others find the solution faster! 👍✨
