My printer is "stuck" on the language screen, I cannot advance past this screen, and I cannot select English to advance to a yes/no screen.

I would like to be able to use the touch screen but can't do that without getting past this screen.

I.e. the printer has already adopted the English language.
What happens when you touch the Home button? (Control Panel Features )

For now, let us try these steps:
- With the printer turned on, disconnect printer from computer- Disable WLAN, WiFi and/or remove the USB or LAN cable.- Do not switch off the printer >> unplug the power cord from the socket!
- Wait at least 60 seconds.
- Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
Do not connect to the computer - Turn ON the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
- Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed.
Note: HP recommends connecting the printer directly to a wall outlet rather than a surge protector or a power strip.
If the error persists, then take a photo and upload here, click on the icon "Insert photos", "Set format = Large".

Turn off the printer
Remove all toner cartridges
The cartridge drawer and cover must be closed.
Turn on the printer and wait for the initialization to finish
What is shown on the display?
Please take a photo and upload it.
