My pages had streaky black ink - I ran the diagnostic program for printer maintenance that was in the program app on my PC and it still persisted.The HP WEB said " If you are having problems with your printer while running Windows 10, and you know it is supported, use HP Print and Scan Doctor to diagnose and fix the problem."

I did so and that's when I lost the connectivity to my printer completely .... instead of streaks I am NOT ABLE TO PRINT at all.

I tried to reload the drivers from the CD that came with the printer and that no longer works either.

 

I love my printer and it is less than 2 years old.

 

I would greatly appreciate getting a resolution, as I am now out of business and extremely frustrated.

I understand you're not able to print to the printer from your computer. Follow the steps below to isolate and resolve the issue-

 

If the printer is connected wireless, ensure the blue wireless light on the printer is solid.

Check if the printer and computer are connected to the same network

If you've any antivirus/security software installed, disable and try configuring the printer again.

 

Also, Update the printer firmware

Download available firmware updates from the HP website

With the printer on and connected to the computer, go to HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads, and then identify your printer. Look for and install any available firmware updates. Refer to the document HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware.

 

Use HP Print and Scan Doctor

Download HP Print and Scan Doctor and run the program. It will automatically diagnose and fix any printer connectivity issues.
