I see that your system is no longer showing up on your printer. Do not worry, we are here to help you with it.
- Did you make any changes to your printer?
- May I know if you get any error codes or messages?

I made no changes to my printer. I don't get any error codes or messages. It was working fine a few months ago. I can print from any device.
It doesn't sound like you understand my question. Prior to this issue, I could see the printer in Windows Explorer as a device on the network. I could see the flash drive plugged into the printer USB port. I could access the flash drive from Explorer to get directly to files that I just scanned. Now, I have to remove the USB flash drive, put it into my PC, and work from there.
I believe the device went missing sometime around doing a Windows or HP update.

Thanks for your response.
Do not worry, we have understood the issue and it seems like driver conflicts.
Let's perform Root-level uninstallation and check if the issue persists:
- Root level uninstall and reinstall printer drivers:
- Go to Control panel – Programs and feature – Select all the HP printer entries and uninstall them.
- Now go to Control panel – Devices and printer – Select all the printer entries and remove the device.
- Then press the "windows key" + "r" to get the "Run" window open - Type "printui.exe /s" and press enter.
- Under print server properties, go to drivers - remove any entry there as well.
- Again, go to run window, type – “c:/programdata” – Go to Hewlett Packard folder, remove any printer-related folders & files. To reinstall, click here.
Along with that, I would suggest you update the USB driver for your system.
Once done, let me know the outcome of it.
Thanks!

Make sure that you have applied all Windows Updates, manually check to make sure. There have been numerous fixes implemented.
