Welcome to the HP Community Forum.
The printer supports wireless.
The model is older - I found reviews dated 2012.
The router logs might give you hints about why the connection is failing.
Try connecting to 2.4GHz using an SSID named network that operates at that frequency.

Well, if naught else works, you could try connecting the printer directly to a Windows computer using a USB print cable. The printer software is available: HP Deskjet 3510/Ink Advantage 3510 e-All-in-One Printer series Full Feature Software and Drivers
