Recently, my old laptop got zapped by Sparky. I bought a new HP Pavillion laptop and now it says that the drivers for my printer HP Deskjet F4100 are unavailable. My new laptop has Windows 11. The old one had Windows 10 and the printer worked fine. How can I get this new laptop to play nicely with my elderly printer?

Welcome to our HP User Forum!
Finding a downloadable driver for your HP Deskjet F4100 All-in-One printer turned out to be a royal pain. Tried as I did, I could not find an actual HP link for the driver.
The following link looks to me, well, somewhat legit -no guarantees, though: https://drivers.eu/All-in-One%20%28Multifunctional%29/HP/Deskjet%20F4100.
Once you hit an "I Agree" button and download the file, this is what it looks like:
If I was to try to make an HP Deskjet F4100 AIO printer work, this is what I would try. Thus, right-click on the file and: "Run as administrator". Don't forget to offer a prayer to the deity of your choosing before you do this.
Honestly hope this was helpful.
Kind Regards,
